CAMOUFLAGE

These are scents conceived in nights of introspection and sleepless wakefulness. Inspirations born amid smoke and rum that imbue clothes with strong aromas. They are nights of excess and perdition, of lit candles next to crumpled sheets and at the same time of reflection and inner stillness. Their minimalist structure hides the sophisticated notes from the paper and reveals them only on the skin, a hidden diary of experiences. They irradiate the environment with charged and powerful notes, seductive and erotic. In the mixture of childhood memories and ancient Arabian essences, I find a refuge of thoughts that lead me into my inner self to speak to me and tell me about who I was.

Then among murky reflections and past reminiscences I glimpse a light that filters through and warms me. Here my journey begins again and continues my journey among the streets of Dubai and the ways of my being. Night falls, my room remains bare and I am clothed in memories that guide my steps through the streets of Dubai.

On me the face of darkness, Mine the face, mine this mask of smells, extract of thoughts that opens the door to my intimate archive. In my pausing I do not stop, I observe and search, I, nomadic citizen of my wandering, Wandering trace of distant destinations. City and desert, palaces and sand, smoke rises and cheers my olibanum memories that bring back my childhood on the road of this Middle Eastern market. Burned by the warmth of these faded photos, I linger, suspended in the past and surrender to the voice of evening, an expected reflection that decided to take me so far from home to lead me closer to my heart. Oud and Frankincense oxidize a rose in the desert to fade into an explosion of smoky woods. Its smoky scents and distinctly Middle Eastern inspiration recall the streets of Dubai, Arabian markets, and desert nights.
