Arancia di Sicilia, a fragrance that has the energy and naturalness typical of citrus fruits combined with an enveloping sweetness. The accord is enriched in the heart by almond, vanilla and cinnamon and in the base by musky and amber notes. It is, finally, enhanced with the intense aroma of coffee absolute.
The journey through Italian excellence continues by presenting a new fragrance dedicated to Sicily's most iconic citrus fruit, the sanguinella orange. In perfumery, the essential oil of the bitter orange is considered of greater value than the more common sweet oranges. The Sicilian quality deserves separate consideration, especially for the Sanguinella, grown on the slopes of Mount Etna, which is distinguished by its deep red color and complex, aromatic sweetness. The collaboration with the Capua company, which has been distinguished for excellence in the production of citrus essential oils since 1880, continues and enhances precisely the Sicilian sanguinella oranges through 2 methods of extraction.
In the first method the essential oil is extracted without coming into contact with the juice that is intended for beverages, (Brown). A second method is used at the end of the season: the sanguinellas are first passed to the press, which brings the oil contained in the peel into contact with the juice, then to the blending machine, which separates the liquid from the residue. Finally, it goes to centrifuges that separate the oil from the juice.
Two distinct qualities of essential oils come together in our project to better represent in its entirety the symbolic fruit of Sicily. A true tribute to the flavors and scents of the island, Arancia di Sicilia evokes the atmosphere of warm Sicilian mornings while tasting a good orange juice and savoring typical candied fruit desserts.
