MERCI CAFE'

It's 3:00 a.m. and that's when you need your courage, that's when you feel alone and come to terms with what you're facing; everything seems like an insurmountable mountain. 

Your heart beats fast, your anguish grows, you walk restlessly around the room, you look out, you see street lamps with a few bulbs flickering, you too seem to be failing. Continuous flashes of dark and light, dark and light. 

4:00 comes, then 5:00, and you're staring blankly until you hear the first chirps of birds. The sun is coming up, there is noise on the road, and the huge mountain is getting smaller and smaller. It is 6:30 in the morning, you open the window to breathe fresh air, and it is at that moment, that from a small Patisserie, there down the street, comes the smell of coffee. 

The mountain is gone. Because like it or not, all over the world coffee marks the beginning of a new day. The sun has risen, that scent of coffee, gives me the strength to go forward and start my life anew.
