A meeting of perfumery's favorite wood, rarely worked with solinote, and a Headspace flame, to represent the illumination of Paris, the city of lights.
The flame arrived at last from Mount Olympus for the celebrations, lighting the matchwood as if to take up a forgotten work, found by a miracle in a bookstore: carrying with it the scent of paper and the smell of words. As the street lamps light up and night falls on the city of light, swirls of wood deposit their fumes in the flacon.
A flywheel of dry wood swirls through the air, enlivened by sparks of nutmeg and cumin, before meeting a Headspace of flame in an amber-vanilla crackle.
A modern, no-frills wood that highlights two varieties of cedar: “atlas” for resinous, leathery facets, and “virginia” for dry, spicy facets reminiscent of a pencil.
