MURICE IMPERIALE
The third of the seven tuberoses that Cristian Cavagna wanted in his collection. Do not call it a marine tuberose, it is not.
Murice is a journey of poetry, adventure and mermaids. Shells that break on the beach, protecting inside them a tuberose that reaches the shore safe and sound.
Extrait de parfum 100 ml
"I imagined the scent of the sea air in the middle of a tuberose plantation.
Tuberoses obviously cannot grow near the sea, so how could such a delicate flower arrive on a beach?
Through a mermaid who picked one on the foreshore, which found shelter inside a murice, this shell transporting it safely to shore. In the sea, the tuberose inside the shell fought to remain intact, encountered sea monsters, wept in the rain out of despair, danced with French red seaweed, dried in the sun and embraced Ada a block of grey amber.
She defended her roots by clinging to a coral and from here we have the vision the smell of the reef coming through in all its facets.
There is a molecular extraction of sea moss, which makes us glide over the reefs and enchanting comes the accord of Musa paradisiaca with its banana leaves.
Murice is the mollusc from which imperial violet is extracted, the purple-red, a pigment that never fades, indeed in contact with the sun it sets even more, imperial because it was used by emperors to dye their robes.
Tuberose petals soaked in salt water and red pigments, the red-purple colour has been given a scent, it has been recreated with rhubarb, discreetly.
Don't call it marine, it is a submarine, wet, mineral tuberose.
The tuberose, a white flower that has come from afar, brought by the waves, inside a rabbit warren, its home, the casket in which it has settled, its cool refuge.
